How the DevEx conversion works+
The Developer Exchange (DevEx) program lets Roblox creators turn earned Robux into real currency. The standard rate is $0.0038 USD per Robux, so the formula is simply Robux × 0.0038 = USD. Robux earned before September 5, 2025 converts at the older $0.0035 rate, and eligible US 18+ in-game spend converts at $0.0054.
Only earned Robux counts. Revenue from game passes, developer products, UGC items and group payouts is eligible; Robux you purchased or received from a Premium stipend is not. You also need 30,000 earned Robux, an active Premium subscription and a verified account to submit a request.

What is the current DevEx rate?+
Roblox pays $0.0038 USD per earned Robux under the standard DevEx rate — about $350 for 100,000 Robux. Robux earned before September 5, 2025 cashes out at the legacy $0.0035 rate.
How much Robux do I need to cash out?+
You need at least 30,000 earned Robux in your account to submit a DevEx request, plus an active Roblox Premium subscription and a verified email.
Can I DevEx Robux I bought?+
No. Only earned Robux is eligible — revenue from game passes, developer products, subscriptions, UGC sales and group payouts. Purchased Robux and Premium stipends cannot be exchanged.
How long does a DevEx payout take?+
Roblox typically reviews and processes DevEx requests within a few business days, and the funds then arrive through Tipalti in your chosen payout method.
