Roblox Gamepass Payout Calculator
Work out the 30% marketplace cut in both directions.
How the 30% marketplace fee works
Every game pass or developer product sale on Roblox is subject to a 30% marketplace fee. Your payout is price × 0.7, so a 500 Robux pass nets 350 Robux.
To work backwards from a target, divide by 0.7: target ÷ 0.7 = list price. If you need 1,400 Robux in hand, list the item at 2,000 Robux.
The calculator also converts your net Robux into real money at the DevEx rate so you can see the true value of each sale before pricing your experience.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Roblox take from a game pass sale?
Roblox keeps a 30% marketplace fee, so you receive 70% of the sale price. A 100 Robux game pass pays out 70 Robux.
What should I price a game pass at to keep a specific amount?
Divide your target payout by 0.7. To keep 700 Robux, list the pass at 1,000 Robux.
Do developer products have the same fee?
Yes. Developer products, game passes and most in-experience purchases all use the same 30% platform fee.
Are group payouts also charged 30%?
No. Once Robux is in a group balance, payouts to members transfer 1:1 with no additional marketplace fee.
How much is my payout worth in real money?
Multiply your net Robux by the DevEx rate of $0.0038. The calculator shows this conversion automatically.
Rates reflect Roblox's published DevEx program. Group payouts transfer 1:1 (no marketplace fee). Only earned Robux is DevEx-eligible. Currency conversions are indicative.
